What is BallStreet?
No. BallStreet is a skilled based peer-to-peer prediction market that allows members to change their opinion on an outcome of an event at anytime. You are not judged on if you pick the "winning" outcome, only if you are able to out trade the crowd in the market.
Yes. You can link your accounts and trade against each other with the ability to compete against one another when you are both watching an event sitting on your own couches.
BallStreet will host markets for any measurable outcome event; NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, Tennis, UFC, E*Sports, Pop Culture, Politics, Reality TV, Award Shows, etc.
You are only trading against the other members in the market with you.
You win by having one of the top 20% P&Ls in the weekly or single game contest (1 in 5 will win!).
Shares are priced by the BallStreet algorithm. It is based on a measurement of buyers and sellers currently in the market at a specific price. If there are more buyers at a price, the next available price will be higher. If more sellers, the next available price will be lower.
Members will be given 100 shares of all outcomes and a “bank” of virtual currency. Shares of each outcome will trade from “0 to 100” in real time based on how the market (other members) believe in the likelihood of the outcome. Winning outcomes will have their shares value at $100. Losing outcomes will value at $0. Your goal is to buy shares low and sell them high as you are watching the event play out in real time.
P&L is Profit and Loss. BallStreet will track the trading score of each player to create an overall leaderboard. Those members who trade better by buying lower and selling higher will score higher and be more likely to finish as a winner.
No. Traders will only be trading against each other to score the highest P&L. They will not trade against the “house” nor will they be wagering on a specific outcome. Instead they will be scored based solely on their ability to out trade the market and score the highest trading P&L.
